Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Namuh, including our website, public beta, text based service, iMessage and SMS flows, agent workflows, payment workflows, connector features, and any related features we make available. By using Namuh, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update these terms as Namuh evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

Namuh is only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the service. By using Namuh you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Namuh is a facilitator. It helps people and their agents request, coordinate, and complete real world tasks with helpers who may be able to perform them.

Namuh is not the employer, supervisor, insurer, background-check provider, or guarantor of any requester or helper. The work, safety, quality, legality, timing, and outcome of a task are between the requester and helper.

We may help with matching, communication, status updates, proof review, and payment workflows, but we do not guarantee that any task will be accepted, completed, or completed to your satisfaction.

By texting Namuh, clicking a Text Namuh button, replying to a Namuh message, or asking Namuh to contact you, you authorize Namuh to send task, account, transactional, and beta service messages to the phone number or handle you use.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency depends on your tasks and use of the service. You can text STOP to opt out of non-essential text messages and HELP or contact us for support. If you opt out, Namuh may not be able to complete tasks or send service updates.

Do not use Namuh if you are not the owner or authorized user of the phone number, handle, account, card, wallet, connector, or payment method you use.

You are responsible for any activity connected to your account, phone number, email address, agent, API key, connector, payment method, wallet, or automation that uses Namuh. Keep credentials and access links secure.

If you allow an AI agent or automated system to act for you, you are responsible for what it requests, sends, confirms, or authorizes through Namuh.

We may limit, suspend, or revoke access if we believe an account, agent, connector, or automation is abusive, unsafe, fraudulent, or harmful to Namuh or its users.

You may submit task descriptions, messages, photos, proof, reviews, profile information, connector information, and other content. You keep ownership of your content, but you give Namuh permission to use it to operate, secure, moderate, improve, and provide the service.

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit content that is false, misleading, illegal, unsafe, harassing, infringing, or invasive of another person's privacy.

Namuh does not endorse or guarantee user submitted content, task descriptions, helper profiles, reviews, proof, or messages.

Use Namuh only for lawful, safe, and reasonable tasks. Do not request or perform tasks involving illegal goods, violence, weapons, sexual services, harassment, stalking, fraud, unauthorized access, regulated activity without the required license, or anything that could reasonably create danger.

Users are responsible for evaluating whether a task, requester, helper, location, or instruction is legitimate and safe. Do not send money outside approved payment flows. Do not share sensitive financial information, private keys, government identifiers, or credentials unless a trusted payment or identity provider specifically requires them.

Report suspicious, fraudulent, unsafe, or abusive activity to us at gle3@uic.edu.

Namuh may use third party providers such as Stripe to process payment authorizations, holds, charges, payouts, disputes, refunds, identity checks, payout checks, and tax or compliance workflows. Those providers may have their own terms and policies.

Some beta payment flows may run in test mode and no real money may move. If a live payment flow is available, the checkout or message flow will identify the amount and provider before you authorize payment.

Fees, holds, platform fees, cancellation rules, refund eligibility, proof requirements, release timing, dispute timing, and payout timing may be shown or described before or during the relevant transaction. Third party processing fees may be non refundable unless required by law or by the payment provider's rules.

Do not route payments outside approved Namuh payment flows. Namuh is not responsible for off-platform payments, side deals, cash arrangements, or external payment links.

Namuh may rely on third party services for messaging, payments, analytics, hosting, storage, AI models, maps, email, identity, security, connector access, and other operations. We are not responsible for third party services, outages, policies, security practices, or content.

Links or references to third party websites, providers, tools, or services do not mean we endorse them. Review their terms and privacy policies before using them.

Namuh is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple. iMessage and related marks belong to their respective owners.

Do not use Namuh to break the law, harm others, deceive users, post fake or misleading tasks, impersonate someone, harass others, collect personal information without consent, bypass safeguards, scrape the service, reverse engineer the service, overwhelm the service with automated requests, or route payments around approved payment flows.

Do not use Namuh for tasks that are illegal, dangerous, exploitative, sexually explicit, discriminatory, privacy invasive, or otherwise harmful.

Violations may result in content removal, refused tasks, suspended access, permanent bans, or referral to appropriate authorities.

Namuh may offer tools to help requesters and helpers resolve task or payment disputes. Any review we provide is a service feature, not a court, arbitration, legal advice, or a guarantee of recovery.

We are not required to intervene in every dispute. We are not responsible for transactions or arrangements made outside Namuh's approved flows.

Namuh may display trust signals, status labels, payout readiness, proof status, reviews, or verification style indicators. These are informational only. They are not endorsements, background checks, safety guarantees, or promises that a user or task is trustworthy.

Namuh uses agents and automated systems to parse messages, draft task cards, route requests, summarize status, flag safety issues, and suggest next steps. Agent output may be incomplete, incorrect, delayed, or misunderstood.

You are responsible for reviewing important details before authorizing a task, payment, payout, connector, or other action. Namuh may ask for confirmation before sensitive actions, but you remain responsible for your instructions and approvals.

Namuh, including our name, branding, designs, code, content, and service features, belongs to Namuh or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Namuh without permission.

You may use Namuh only as allowed by these terms and by the interfaces we provide.

Your use of Namuh is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Namuh, you consent to our collection and use of information as described there.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to Namuh at any time if we believe you violated these terms, created risk, abused the service, caused chargebacks or fraud concerns, or harmed other users or Namuh.

You remain responsible for obligations incurred before suspension or termination.

Namuh is provided on an as is and as available basis. Features may change, break, or be removed. We do not promise that Namuh will be uninterrupted, secure, error free, or that any task, match, message, payment, payout, connector, agent output, or proof review will meet your expectations.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Namuh is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost data, personal injury, property damage, failed tasks, user conduct, third party services, payment processor errors, connector errors, or actions taken by AI agents or automations.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Namuh's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid directly to Namuh in the twelve months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to defend and hold Namuh harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Namuh, your content, your tasks, your violation of these terms, your violation of another person's rights, your dispute with another user, or actions taken by an agent or automation operating for you.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a term does not waive our right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights as part of operating, financing, selling, or reorganizing Namuh.

These terms and any additional terms we present for specific features are the agreement between you and Namuh for use of the service.

These terms are governed by applicable United States law, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
