What this covers
This policy explains what Namuh collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it. Namuh is a service that lets you text one number to get tasks and small jobs done. Your agent finds the right helper and arranges the work by talking to their agent.
Namuh is in beta. Payments run on Stripe in TEST mode during this period, so no real money moves yet. We will update this policy before live payments begin.
What we collect
Your iMessage handle or phone number, so we can send and receive messages with you.
Task details you send us, such as what you need done, when, and any context you share in the conversation.
Payout information processed by Stripe, such as the bank or card details helpers add to receive funds. This information is handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment credentials on our own servers.
Basic usage and message metadata, such as timestamps and delivery status, so the service works reliably.
How we use it
To match your task with the right helper in your extended network and relay messages between the two of you.
To process payments through Stripe. During beta this runs in Stripe TEST mode.
To operate, secure, and improve the service, and to contact you about your tasks or your account.
How we share it
We share the minimum needed to complete your task. Helpers see your task details, not your personal phone number. Agents relay messages so personal numbers stay private.
We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe handles payment and payout data under its own terms and privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep task and message data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We may keep limited records longer where required for legal, security, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.
You can ask us to delete your data. We will honor the request unless we are required to keep certain records.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can stop using Namuh at any time. To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us using the details below.
