Privacy Policy

1. What this covers
This policy explains what Namuh collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it. Namuh is a public beta service that lets you text one number to request, post, find, or complete small real-world tasks through iMessage, SMS, and agent workflows.
Namuh is evolving quickly. Some features may run in test mode, limited beta, or manual review. If a payment flow is live, the checkout or message flow will identify the amount and provider before you authorize payment.
2. What we collect
Contact and account identifiers, such as your phone number, iMessage handle, email address, profile name, and any social or connector information you choose to share.
Conversation, task, and marketplace content, such as messages, task descriptions, timing, location or service area, price, proof requirements, photos, links, claims, disputes, reviews, and safety reports.
Profile and matching information you provide, such as skills, availability, radius, roles, bio, age confirmation, trust signals, and preferences.
Payment and payout information processed by providers such as Stripe. We do not store full card, bank, or payout credentials on our own servers, but we may store payment status, checkout identifiers, payout readiness, dispute status, receipts, and related records.
Connector and automation data when you connect a tool or account, such as OAuth status, token metadata, scopes, expiration, and operational logs needed to keep the connector working.
Technical and usage data, such as timestamps, delivery status, IP address, browser or device information, page events, security logs, error logs, and aggregate message counters.
3. How we use it
To send and receive messages, create task cards, match requesters and helpers, route claims, relay updates, collect proof, resolve disputes, and keep records of task activity.
To process authorizations, payments, refunds, payouts, identity or payout checks, and dispute workflows through payment providers.
To operate, secure, debug, moderate, and improve Namuh, including by detecting spam, fraud, abuse, unsafe tasks, and payment or connector failures.
To contact you about your tasks, account, beta access, safety notices, service changes, support requests, and legally required notices.
4. Texting Namuh
When you text Namuh, click a Text Namuh button, reply to a Namuh message, or ask Namuh to contact you, you consent to receive task, account, transactional, and beta service messages from Namuh at the phone number or handle you use.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency depends on your tasks and use of the service. You can text STOP to opt out of non-essential text messages and HELP or contact us for support. Opting out may prevent Namuh from completing tasks or sending service updates.
6. AI and automation
Namuh uses agents and automated systems to parse messages, draft task cards, route requests, summarize status, flag safety issues, and suggest next steps. We may review agent output, logs, and task records to operate, improve, and secure the service.
Do not send sensitive information that is not needed for a task, such as passwords, private keys, government identifiers, medical details, or full payment credentials.
7. Retention
We keep task and message data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We may keep limited records longer where required for legal, security, accounting, or fraud prevention reasons.
Connector tokens, payment records, dispute records, proof, fraud signals, and audit logs may have different retention periods because they are needed for security, accounting, legal, or operational reasons.
You can ask us to delete your data. We will honor the request unless we need to keep certain records to complete a transaction, prevent fraud, comply with law, resolve a dispute, protect safety, or maintain required business records.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls, provider security features, and operational monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices
You can stop using Namuh at any time. You can request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data by contacting us using the details below.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to know what categories of personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of certain sale or sharing of personal information, to limit certain sensitive personal information uses, and to avoid discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
You can opt out of non-essential text messages by texting STOP. You can also disconnect supported tools or accounts when connector controls are available.
10. Children
Namuh is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Namuh, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
